The Assessment, Evaluation, and Programming System for Infants and Children, Third Edition (AEPS®-3) is a curriculum-based assessment for all children birth to 6 years that gives every child the best chance to make real progress toward developmental goals. Increments of development measured on the AEPS-3 Curriculum allow providers to accurately target children's learning needs and ensure they make progress. AEPS has been studied extensively since 1974, and the AEPS-3 Test shows high levels of reliability, validity, and other critical psychometric properties. The developers continuously research and field-test AEPS to ensure that it is the most effective linked system for children available today.
